FSC Policy
Patterson Lumber Co., Inc. has a written policy endorsed by its President to exclude wood harvested from the following areas:
- Wood harvested from forest areas where traditional or civil rights are violated;
- Wood harvested from non FSC-certified forest areas having high conservation values which are threatened;
- Wood harvested from genetically modified trees;
- Wood that has been illegally harvested;
- Wood from natural forests that have been harvested for the purpose of converting the land to plantations or other non-forest use.
